Khao Sok Half Day Hike

Venture deep into the heart of Khao Sok National Park on a half-day hike through one of the world’s oldest and most diverse forest ecosystems. Surrounded by towering 30-meter trees and lush vegetation, you’ll walk along ancient hunting trails that wind through the park’s 739 km² expanse, leaving behind the modern world as you immerse yourself in nature.
The park’s dense jungle is home to a wide variety of exotic wildlife—be sure to have your camera ready! While larger animals are often elusive during the day, you may encounter tracks or scat from elephants, wild boars, tapirs, or an Indochinese leopard. Your experienced guide will also point out regular sightings of colorful birds, insects, and playful monkeys, including macaques and gibbons.
Along the trail, discover fascinating flora, from towering trees to oversized leaves, and even plants with medicinal properties. Depending on the season, you may also visit a nearby cave or waterfall. During the wet (monsoon) season, rain can make caves harder to reach, but the waterfalls are at their most spectacular—showcasing Khao Sok’s untamed beauty.
