Khao Sok River by Canoe

The Sok River winds its way through the heart of the jungle, creating a peaceful and serene path that offers a unique perspective of Khao Sok’s stunning natural beauty. As you float down the river, surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and dense jungle, it’s easy to feel completely in tune with nature. This leisurely-paced canoe experience allows you to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the forest, with wildlife sightings and breathtaking scenery as the main highlights.

Canoes accommodate two people, with a local guide expertly paddling and guiding you along the river. Along the way, you’ll stop for a short break, during which your guide will prepare tea and coffee over an open fire using a bamboo stem to boil the water. The sweet, earthy flavor imparted by the bamboo makes for a truly unique drink, perfect for enjoying the tranquil surroundings.

After your break, continue down the river and keep an eye out for wildlife, including exotic birds, monkeys, and perhaps even a sleepy snake or two. It’s a wonderful way to experience the Sok River at a relaxed pace.
